Friends and Family, 

Starting on January 17, 2017 I will be taking part in a 43 day challenge with the American Heart Association creating awareness of the risks of heart disease in women. Did you know that 1 in 3 women suffer from heart disease? 

My passion for heart disease began a few years ago when I met the amazing group of physicians at First Coast Cardiovascular Institute. As I got to know these amazing physicians and the way they were changing lives, I knew that I wanted to make a difference in some way. After gaining my title as Miss North Florida International, I had no question that my platform would be hearth health. I have had the privelage of working Lorie at tour local AHA and learning some of the statistics I will be sharing with you over the next 43 days. After our first meeting, I knew I was ready to dive in head first with this social media campaign. 

It is my prayer that God can use me to spread awareness and encourage women and families all over the first coast and beyond to live a healthy lifestyle. Over the next 43 days, I have set a personal goal to raise $430 dollars for the American Heart Association so that they can continue to touch the lives of these women.
