Leadership
For more than 100 years, the American Heart Association has made bold moves to save lives and pioneer scientific discoveries. We haven’t done it alone. We reach our goals working with organizations and individuals who share our vision for better health and today, the Go Red for Women community is stronger than ever. The American Heart Association, through Go Red for Women, is prepared to meet the evolving needs of women now, and at every age, every stage, and every season of their lives as their trusted, relevant source for credible, equitable health solutions, and that is why our volunteer leadership is so important. Go Red for Women is a catalyst for this critical work.
2026 Go Red for Women Chair
Rees Mason
Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
We are thrilled to announce that Rees Mason, Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management will serve as our 2026 First Coast Go Red for Women® Chairperson. Rees’ longstanding support of the American Heart Association includes serving as the 2022 First Coast Woman of Impact Chairperson, being an active member of Circle of Red and sharing her family’s journey with a rare gene mutation that affects the heart as the 2024 Open Your Heart honorees at the First Coast Heart Ball. Her commitment to the fight against heart disease and stroke is deeply personal and profoundly inspiring. We’re excited to see how Rees will continue to elevate awareness and empower women across the First Coast to take charge of their heart health.
